REFERENCE: Your multiple addressee memorandum dated 17 July 1980;

1. I appreciate your drawing to my attention the Symposium on Information
Resources Management scheduled for 18-19 September. I agree that it looks
interesting and I am certain it would be helpful to those of us involved
in information management in the Agency.
2. The Office of Information Services welcomes the opportunity to STATINTL
participate as part of an Agency team attending the Symposium. As it now STATINTL
stands, either myself or my Deputy, Chief,
STATINTL Records Management Division; ie Into lon Technology
Branch/RND; and Chief, Records Systems Branch/RMD will be going
to the seminar.
3. I would appreciate learning who else will be attending as part of
the Agency team. Unless advised otherwise, the OIS attendees will submit
their training requests directly to the Office of Personnel Management.
