1. The purpose of this memorandum is to coordinate
and concur on our discussion, held on Wednesday 27 August 1980,
concerning COMTEN software support. (U)
2. To fulfill the OC responsibilities to support the
COMTEN's at the OC has
begun training of two (2) Automation Specialists. It is
recognized that support of these systems requires an in-depth
knowledge of the system and extremely close coordination with
ODP personnel providing similar support it Headquarters. There-
fore, these OC personnel will be available as of September
2, 1980, for on-the-job training and productive tasking with
the ODP team supporting the COMTEN's. (L')
3. At some time in the near future, approximately four
(4) months, we will re-evaluate this arrangement and deter-
mine the next step in providing coordinated support for these
systems. (U)
