SUBJECT Removal of Magnetic Media from Headquarters
Building
1. A small select group of Computer Scientists in the
Office of Data Processing are testing the Delta Data 7000
model series CRT Terminal to determine the capabilities and
deficiencies of the equipment. Their efforts are as time
permits at the Headquarters Building, but that time is
limited. They have been permitted to have a terminal at
their homes where they have more free time to conduct the
tests.
2. The terminals being tested are used as stand-a-lone
systems and only unclassified data is processed. To give
continuity in their study, they would like to use the same
floppy disk at home and at Headquarters.
3. It is requested that a waiver be granted for the
removal of this magnetic media from Agency Buildings during
their testing period.
