ODP Meeting with ADP Personnel of Hartford
Insurance Company
You have advised OGC of a proposed meeting between data
processing personnel of ODP and the Hartford Insurance Company to
discuss general technical problems related to "adding a fifth processor
to an existing 4 CPU ASP environment." I see no difficulty with allowing
such a meeting providing:
a. there is no security problem with disclosure by
IBM or ODP of the extent and nature of CIA computer facilities
and operations;
b. such consultations are mutually beneficial and do not
consume more than minimal amounts of Agency personnel or
funds; and
c. the Agency does not become involved in a situation
where its expertise might result in an unfair competitive
advantage for any commercial enterprise.
