CONTINUING. A PASSENGER SHIP (NATIONALITY UNKNOWN) IS MOORED
ALONGSIDE THE QUAY WHERE THE PROBABLE CYPRIOT RO/RO AKR (FERRY)
'SOL PHRYGIN' WAS MOORED YESTERDAY. A FEW PERSONNEL ARE
NEARBY. ADDITIONAL VESSELS OBSERVED IN THE CLOUD-FREE AREAS OF
THE PORT INCLUDE ONE MERCHANT SHIP, ONE BULK CARRIER, AND FOUR
COASTAL FREIGHTERS (ONE IN OUTER HARBOR). ONE COASTAL
FREIGHTER HAS DEPARTED (GRAPHIC 2) 25X1

NORTH/SOUTH RUNWAY REMAINS OPERATIONAL.
NORTHEAST/SOUTHWEST RUNWAY MAY BE OPERATIONAL TO SOME AIRCRAFT
TYPES SINCE APPROXIMATELY 1,868 11ETERS OF THE RUNWAY APPEAR TO
HAVE BEEN REPAIRED AND CLEARED OF DEBRIS. HOWEVER,
APPROXIMATELY 795 METERS OF THE NORTHEAST END OF THE RUNWAY MAY
NOT BE OPERATIONAL DUE TO DEBRIS. EIGHT VEHICLES/PIECES OF
EQUIPMENT ARE ON THE NORTHEAST/SOUTHWEST PARALLEL TAXIWAY NEAR
THE TERMINAL APRON, PROBABLY ENGAGED IN REPAIR WORK. THE
THROUGH TRAFFIC TRANSITING THE RUNWAYS AND TRAFFIC BUILDUPS WE
SAW YESTERDAY ON THE NEWLY CONSTRUCTED EARTHEN ACCESS ROADS TO
THE RUNWAYS ARE NOT PRESENT TODAY. IT APPEARS THAT TRAFFIC IS
NOW BEING ROUTED AROUND THE AIRFIELD AND NOT ALONG THE RUNWAY.
THERE IS NO SIGNIFICANT CHANGE IN STATUS OF GROUND FORCES
AROUND THE AIRFIELD. (GRAPHIC 5)
