OF CHEBARKUL.
(SWN) UNITS IDENTIFIED, AND SIMILAR TO THE ONES MISSING
FROM CHEBARKUL, INCLUDE THREE MOTORIZED RIFLE REGIMENTS
WITHOUT APC, ONE TANK REGIMENT, ONE ENGINEER BATTALION, ONE
ANTIAIRCRAFT ARTILLERY REGIMENT, ONE CHEMICAL DEFENSE
BATTALION, ONE FROG-3/5 BATTALION, AND ONE ARTILLERY
REGIMENT.
(SWN) SIX VEHICLE SHEDS WITH A CAPACITY FOR 240 VEHICLES
WERE EXTERNALLY COMPLETE. THREE ADDITIONAL VEHICLE SHEDS,
A POL STORAGE AREA, AND AN AMMUNITION STORAGE AREA WERE
UNDER CONSTRUCTION. IN ADDITION, 70 SQUAD-SIZED TENTS
WHICH ARE ABLE TO HOUSE 700 PERSONNEL WERE ON THE NORTHERN
EDGE OF THIS INSTALLATION. NO'EVIDENCE OF THIS
