our historical program, draws to an end, I should like
to record our great appreciation for the wonderful assist-
ance we have received from this talented writer and editor.

2. When was detailed to us more than a year
ago, the task or completing our several histories _seemed
awesome and almost endless. Now, thanks to great
skill and application, we can clearly foresee the comple-
tion of all of our several histories. This is a most
welcome milestone.
