1. The subject history has been approved for publi-
cation by the CIA Historical Staff. The final copy is being
returned to you for correction of the indicated typographical
error (please note use of singular!).
2. When the correction has been made, the report
should be forwarded to Dr. Tietjen for his signature on the

3. If Dr. Tietjen approves the report, it should then
be sent to Chairman, Support Services
Historical Board, Room 710 MaEazIne Building.
4. If h concur will return the history
to this Staff f r rg duction, binding, and numbering. The
history willlbe disseminated as follows: ribbon copy to OMS,
copy 2 to DDS, and copy 3 to the HS document files.
5. If you have two extra copies of Figures 1 and 2,
I would like to have them. Otherwise we will have to have
copies made.
