Thank you for your letter of 11 February advising methat
Dr. R. J. Smith has been selected to receive the National Civil
Service League Career Service Award for 1971. Dr. Smith is
indeed pleased, and we are honored that another Agency officer
has been chosen to receive this outstanding Award. I look for-
ward to attending the banquet on 23 April at the Washington Hilton.
Mr. Harry B. Fisher, our Director of Personnel, will be
responsible for coordinating with the League on publicity and
other arrangements for the banquet.
