1. (U) This memorandum is for information only.
2. (U) The activities of the Office of Security during
the week of 12-18 August 1977 were highlighted by the follow-
ing items:

period had not been incorporated in the primary
Office of Security file index. Although our
initial review has been limited, it Would appear
the material generally does not contain informa-
tion on major activities not previously reported.
It does, however, contain detail,44 information
relating to Projects Artichoke and Bluebird

alerted to the fact that some documents were found
in a printing shop in Herndon, Virginia, which
possibly belonged to the Agency or another member

of the Intelligence Community. The documents were
turned over to the Federal Bureau of Investigation
who has provided copies to the Office of Security
for revi*w. This review is now underway but has
not yet identified their sensitivity nor their
origin.
