Gambino Director of Security SUBJECT: Office of Security Significant Activities Week of 19 November 1977 (U) REFERENCE: DDA Administrative Instruction No. 74-5 1. (U) This memorandum is for information only. 2. (U) The activities of the Office of Security during the week of 12 - 24 November 1977 were highlighted by the following items: a. (C) On 1$ November an office of Security representative gave an SI/TX security indoctrination to Mr. Joseph Mitchell, new Director of the Federal Preparedness Agency/ GSA. A b. (C) On 22 November.a representative of the Office completed a 31-day TDY at during which an in-depth personae: protection program was developed and implemented to offset a dramatic increase in violent crimes in the area. Over $3,000 in residential alarms and protective hardware was forwarded an a crash basis. Two other Off ce re resentatives in Africa were diverted to assist with the installation of the equipment.
