1. (U) This menoranduu is for information only.
2. (U) The activities of the Office of Security during
the week of 5 - 11 October 1978 were highlighted by the
following items:
b. (U/FOUO) Three representatives of the
Office continued to provide security support
to the House Select Committee oa Assassinations
during this reporting period.
c. (U/FOUO) On 10 October this Office
initiated the full-time package inspection
in an effort to curtail the unauthorized removal
of classified material.

the Office provided support to various
Headquarters elements, the Maryland State
Police and the Senate Select Committee on
Intelligence in connection with the disappearance
and death of former staffer John A. Paisley.
