Tab D is a comprehensive compilation of statistics regarding
CIA cables processed during the period I through I5 July` 1953.
The study is based on a total of approximately 5,450 cables:
approximately 3,600 incoming and approximately I, 850 outgoing.
The legal-sire sheet lists the total number of cables in the
various categories distributed to each of the various organiza-
tional components to which cables are distributed. This listing
is used as the basis for computation of the percentages making
up the other tabulations.
