adjscent to this room. On the other end of this building are the living quarters,
inn-oratory and wash room facilities, a small kitchen, and a day room. Under this
section of the building is a partial basement, which contains the heating plant.
The entire building ia very clean, in excellent condition, and presents an im.
pressive anpearance. The entire installation is a credit to the organization and
the,gen responsible for its operation and upkeep are also.
56. The receiver site is located in a rapidly expanding area within the
buildin area of Buildings have been constructed all
around the site leavinn abqolutely no room for further expansion. In addition
the 'shops have been placed directly adjacent to this site.
This is a _Larne round, glass-enclosed building, which mnkes much Use of such
noise developing machines an electric welders, in addition to the contribution of
ignition noise from the vehicles operated around the building. No more space is
now aveils1)10 at this site for antennae. The receiver building is of permanent
construction but it presently in need of considerable repairs. Recently the entire
buildinn wan rewired as the original wiring installed did not satisfy the 25X1A
14ase fire regulations. The building houses quarters for a few of the men, the re
calving room, the crypto center, the base station orrice, the entire supply function
for thel 'Operation, plus thel 'equipment (vehicles are25X1A
per'red outside). several thousand pounds of crated communications equipment is
pre:ently stored outside in the veather for lack of inside storage space. Tho
building, in spite of the crowded conditions and need for repairs, is kept in very
clean, neat condition. It is evident that a large efrort must be and is exerted
to maintain this appearance. a to be commended for his excellentad-

58. On March 21 a thorough discussion of base scheduling was had with

as I and others which they were required to work. None
of those plans have compatible schedules and must be fitted into an already full
