The wetting property of surface-active compounds,
that is, of wetting agents when emulsions are coated
on a flexible support. was studied. As a result, a
mechanism of kinetic wetting and the anti-repellent
effect of wetting agents for coating the films with
emulsions was suggested and some relationships wet
determined between these properties and the atruc-
lure of the wetting agents. (Authar)
