Results are discussed of the observations of mass
explosions in 1955-56 in various areas (Maralik.
DErnashen. Dvin, Talish ,and the Tokhmakhangelsk
pit) of the ASSR. As a recording device, the portable
16093 1
pendulum seismometer A15-2 with free oscillations
was used: periods of horizontal oscillations were
0.05: 0.1. 0.2. 0.4 sec. and vertical -- 0.05. 0.1.
0.2 sec with the logarithmic damping decrement
dr 0.2-0.4 which is an approidmate model-scale for
buildings and structures o( the same characteristics.
