SUBJECT : ADP Data for Chief, Budget Division
1. asked me to review the figures in the
ADP Inventory which we recently conducted for the Comptroller
to send to the Bureau of the Budget. I briefed him on
16 April 1963.
2. During our discussion, Mr. [:::::::]asked me to furnish 25X1
him with a brief comparison of the capabilities of the IBM
1401 and 1410 computers, see Attachment A. This comparison
was prepared byl shop.
3. Mr.I subsequently asked you to furnish him
with a list of EAM and computer installations in the Agency
with a brief description of the major application of each.
I prepared Attachment B and submitted it to Mr.II on
23 April 1963.
4. Mr. then asked me to furnish him with a list
of Agency components which were preparing input data for
subsequent processing by installations which had a full
complement of machines and also an inventory of Flexowriters
(purchased ADP equipment). In response to this request, I
furnished Mr. with Attachments C and D, on 23 April
1963.
5. Mr.II told me the above data was for the use
of the Comptroller in case he had to testify before the
Appropriations Committee in regard to the inventory of ADP
equipment.
