SUBJECT : Lease of Motor Vehicle from Ford Motor Company for
Assignment to the DCI.
1. This memorandum is in response to your request for information
concerning the availability and leasing costs of a Lincoln automobile for
assignment to the DCI.
2. The Ford Motor Company offers two models for lease, an executive
limousine and the standard four-door sedan. Following is pertinent informa-
tion on each of the two models offered:
a. Lincoln Continental Sedan (Retail purchase price lb'7064)
(1) Annual leasing cost *750-
(2) The local district office of Ford Motor Company can
authorize the lease.
(3) The sedan is not offered with glass partition, either
as standard or optional equipment.

b. Executive Limousine (Retail purchase price $17,50C )
1) Annual leasing cost $1,500.
2) Executive Limousinesfor lease are very limited. Therefore,
the local district office of Ford Motor Company must obtain factory
authorization prior to lease of the Limousine.
(3) The Limousine is equipped with glass partition between
the passenger and driver compartments (a soundproof glass partition
is also available).
(4) The seats in the passenger compartment are so arranged
that conferences may be held enroute by five passengers.
3. Neither the Limousine nor the Sedan are available in 1965 models.
Delivery of 1966 models is estimated to be 1 November 1965 for the Sedan
and 1 January 1966 for the Executive Limousine. Operating and maintenance

expenses are to be borne by the Agency in addition to the leasing costs.
Insurance costs are borne by the Ford Motor Company. Attached is a
brochure on the 1965 Model Sedan and Limousine and a copy of the Ford Motor
Company leasing agreement.
