1. Pending recellz of the Support Directorate ftmd allocation for
Ft 1967, I do not believe it would be productive to forward your memo-
randum to the Office of Planning, Programming and Budgeting. 0/PPil
appreVal is not required, and we will not normally seek allocation
increases for individual items in such small amotmts. You are right,
however, in recording it as an item which must be provided for.
2. WhOn our allocation is received Wv may find that this co
be absorbed within the Office of Logistic OWILACe or within that
e Support Directorate. U not, we will incorporate it with other
requirements and seek additional funding from 0/P111. In the meantime,
we should act on the relative priorixy of the requirement.
