1. Please conduct a current study on the avaiL3bility of instantaeteons
supplementary electrical power for crtti al Agency faculties in the event
of a power failure by the Virginia rlec;tric and Power Company. The study
should also include the availability of supplementary power facilities to
maintain continuous operation of Head. uarters building activities on a re-
duced scale during a lengthy power failure.

supplementary power for the "1 O eraticns Center, the Signal. Center,
the telephone system, and 41?.tilar critical facilities which must be kept -r,
continuous operation. Your revert should also contain recommendations
for any additional actions necessary to ensure co:itinuity of these actlviti.3s.
