Although we did not come up with a
nominee for the jump Award within the DD/S,
I understand the Agency will have a candidate.
He is John McMahon, Deputy Director of the
Office of Special Projects, DD/S&T. John is
a grade GS-15 who may well be a GS -16
before the winners of the Award are selected.
DD/S&T is chairing a Supergrade Board meet-
ing on Friday at which time McMahon's pro-
motion will be considered.
In view of this, I recommend that you
not nominate a DD/S candidate this year and
that you sign the attached memorandum to the
Director of Personnel.
