Chief., L .ngw School has proposed a program of s:ter interns graduate students in linguistics and hanguagee --- to begin the sumwr of CY 1973. This proposal corresponds closely with the fairly extensive suer intern program conducted in the Directorate of Intelligence, It is proposed that ve begin next suer with one intern and tin expaulcl the program to two or three in the eur+ r of l974, dependent, of course, on our success with the first intern.
