A map folio designed to facilitate the rapid location of armed incidents and other activities along
2,360 kilometers of the Sino-Soviet border has been published by OBGI. It comprises 20 medium-
scale (1:250,000) map sheets covering the entire segment of the border formed by the Amur and
Ussuri Rivers (see coverage index on reverse of this notice). Each sheet is annotated to show river
kilometer points and additional place names. An alphabetical index of settlements and physical fea-
tures within 5 kilometers of the border and an index of river kilometer points accompany the folio.
A limited number of retention copies of this folio, designated BGI RP 74-8, are available. Loan
or retention copies may be obtained from the CIA Map Library, Building 159-E (extension 2688)
or Room GE-0444 of the CIA Headquarters Building (extension 6563). This map folio is classified
SECRET/ CONTROLLED DISSEM.
