The Office of Data Processing (ODP) regrets the confusion
resultin fro: R the nomination of for a 25X1
Brookings institute Program. his request to be withdrawn from
the program was made to enable him to attend the Federal
Executive 1n5titute, When pressing work requirements, i.e.,
a PMCD audit and a Program, Design Review, coupled with an
unexpected decision to move ODP Applications to the II 25X1
shortly after the first of the year, made it difficult
for hi:i to attend the more lengthy course, he asked to be allowed
to attend the shorter nrookings program. I concurred in his
request to do so since his Deputy,
his position and I did not think t
a
wa; now in 25X1
could be
spared for a prolonged period.
