1. A copy of the subject report on the Human Resources
System (11PS) was attached to the referent memorandum ano you
asked to be advised of the action taken on Recommendation '16.
The recommendation was:
Recommendation *6 (For CnP : Follow
estT 1 isheci procedures to ensure that backup
copies of MRS files are stored offsite in a
timely manner.
2. The action taken by the office of Data Processing was:
The Operations Division has established and
implemented procedures to ensure backup copies
of FIRS files are stored in the Special
Computer Centers on a weekly basis and then
stored offsite on a monthly basis. The
Database Management Branch will randomly test
the procedures by submitting test jobs that
require the offeite backup copies of the GYPS
files.
