SUEL3ECT Survey of ODP functions and Manpower
Attached for your review is a. copy of the report of
the ad hoc task force that we established several months
ago to examine and prioritize GDP functions, and to make
recommendations regarding the allocation of ODP manpower.
After you have had the opportunity to study the report and
its recommendations, I would like to meet with you to dis-
cuss specific actions we should take to implement thosse
recommendations which are judged to have merit. Also, any
additional recommendations you might have will be considered
at that time. For the present, I would like to defer dis-
cussions of any recommendations pertaining to the Systems
Programming and Engineering Divisions. Tye will await the
PMCD report before we address those components. We will
meet in early January on this subject.
