MEMORANDUM FOR THE RECORD
SUBJECT: OJCS Manhours Spent on Activities Related to
Senate and House Select Committee Investigations
On 22 September I relayed by telephone to Mr.
STATINTL I lof the DD/A Staff the following figures re-
lated to the subject of this memorandum:
Senate - 100 manhours

House - 76 manhours
2. Earlier in the day, had requested these
figures by telephone. It is my understanding as a result
of our conversation that these figures were needed by the DCI
for a joint study with the Secretary of State and Secretary
of Defense to assess the impact of the House and Senate Inves-
tigations.
3. My figures were derived from estimates from the
four OJCS Divisions and a personal estimate of O/D/OJCS man-
hours.
