C. 20405 Dear Sir, Thank you for the opportunity to revie:.r two proposals to amend Subchapter F of the Federal Property :anagement Regulations (FPM) which involve computer security. They were a new Subpart 101-35.3 which addresses the management of agency computer security programs and a revision to Sub- part 101-36.7 which addresses environment and physical security of AYDP facilities. colleagues and I reviewed the proposals and we do not have any comments. We are also reviewing two proposals to amend the Federal Procures ent Regulations (FPR), The intent of one is to establish requirements when ADP acquisitions involve Govern ent sensitive computer applications and the intent of the other to replace the current checklist requirement of F,11%` Temporary Regulation --42. Since a single Agency response on the FPR' s is preferred `:iy GS 2%, any comments I receive on the FPR' s will be sent to our razor of the Interagency Procurement Policy Committee (IPPC) for inclu-- Sion in a single Agency response. e., xanagement Staff Office of Data Processing CIA Contact Point for GSA on ADP "Matters DISTRIBUTION: Original and 1 Addressee O/D/ODP 1 - MS Chrono STATINTL 2 - ODP Registry ODP/MS~:jal/13Novl979 STATINTI pproved For Releat P84-00933R000400030024-1 1- CAPS/o4 a4 '1,pp _ a.3 ,y n - .1 0, STATINTL
