Support to DDS&T AD-STUDY - Project feasibility study performed by ODP. The first draft of the Requirements Paper for an automated contractor inventory document sys"illllly as completed. The paper has been reviewed by Mr. STATINTL of the DDS&T. The Requirements Paper will be discussed with Mr. Zelmer, STATINTL Associate De uty Director for Science and Technology. B. Support to DDA STATINTL STATINTL IPSLOG - Information Privacy Staff Log. A set of modifications including new GIM Procedures and hard copy reports were made to the Information & Privacy Staff's automated log system. C. Support to OGCR STATINTL DATMAP - System for accessing, announcing, and cataloging maps. The DATMAP system, excluding the query function, is ready for acceptance testing by the customer. Arrangements have been made with Production Division to provide support to DATMAP upon the completion of acceptance testing. The final design of the query function will be reviewed by the customer on 10 November. The acceptance testing Procedures will also be discussed at that time. D. Support to OF 1. CONIF - Management of information on Agency con- tracts and interface problems. The customer is continuing to perform acceptance testing on the system. As of 9 November, approximately 35% of the acceptance test has been completed. ATINTL 2. GAS - General Accounting System. The basic agreement was as follows with the details to be worked out between Production Division and the Tape Library. a. We would utilize a combination of on- site (Hdqs.) and off-site storage facilities. b. If something happened in the Tape Library, we would recover by running no more than five daily updates. No re-keying required. c. If something happened in both Headquarters sites, we could recover by running no more than 20 daily updates. A maximum of 5 days re-keying required. 3. FRS Financial Resource System. ODP's support of the Agency's FY 79 Congressional Budget Exercise began with the production of worksheets for each Directorate on 7 November as planned. On-line FRS updates by Agency budget officers begin this week and continue through November. Directorate budget summary reports are scheduled for production the last week in November, final budget spread sheet reports for the office of the Comptroller are scheduled for the first week in December. E. Support to OTR PREVMAIN - A system for preventive maintenance for OTR. The IBM 2741 terminal ahs been installed - Problems STATINTL have been encountered in attempts to use the Delta Data and IBM terminals. A meeting with the customer d for 11 November to correct the problems. ' STATINTL F. Support to OCR OCRDIR - Automation of OCR Directories. Customer acceptance testing of the GIM-II software for input and maintenance of the standard directory files is continuing. OCR is expected to complete testing by 10 November. We plan to transfer this software to GIMPROD on 10 and 11 November. Support to OC RADIO - A program for parameter and performance pro- duction of telecommunications systems and program calculation of radio transmission losses. The RADIO HFMUFES program (prediction of operational parameters of high-frequency sky-wave telecommunications systems) has been modified to reduce excessive disk I/O. A two circuit test case that required 52,954 EXCP's now requires 150. The CPU time requirment was reduced from 7 mi tes 21 seconds to 51 seconds -- an 88% saving. H. Support to OP PERSIGN - Integrated Personnel Information System. The final requirements review for PERINSUR was held as was an interface requirements review between CENCO and PERSIGN. The analysts on the CENQUAL project are resolving a requirements problem and preparing schedules for project design. BATCHGIM-II software is in the final stages of program testing and documentation, and will then be turned over to the PERSIGN test team. I. Training During the Past Week; STATINTL STATINTL STATINTL A ten-da course Intermediate PL/l, was completed by 8 students. J. competed in the Navy Reserve Marathon over the weekend.. He completed the 26 mile 305 yard course, finishin 839th out of approximately 3200. Congratulations. ) STATINTL 1. The Fitness Report (delinquency tracking) requirements still needs an OP policy decision. Work continues to be held up. on the project. Several meetings are necessary for the PERINSUR project (_CCS and OP, OF/CD and OP, and PERSIGN and PERINSUR) all of which include ODP analysts.
