The CAMS production system was unavailable to users
for approximately 18 hours on 9 November due to problems
with the integrity of the data base. The program which
is used to copy the data from disk to tape each day was
creating erroneous records. This prevented us from being
able to backup each day's transactions. A correction has
been made in this program and will be installed on the
CAMS system immediately.
