I. Major Activities During the Past Week: (U)
A. Support to PTO:
CAMS (COMIREX Automated Management System) The Request For
Proposal (RFP) for the development of CAMS2 Processing Segment
(P/S) was released by OL/Procurement Division on 12 February. The
two day delay was caused by using erroneous company addresses. OL
Proc. Div. retrieved the RFP and readdressed them. Additional
corporations have requested a copy of the RFP. Additional copies
have been delivered to OL/Procurement Division for dissemination

B. Support to OPPPM:

FTE (Full-Time Equivalency) We presented the System Design
paper to ADRB on 12 February. The paper was very

C. Support to OF:
BIWEEK PAYROLL SYSTEM. Program modifications will start this
week to create TO in the ETAR system and process TO in the
PAYCOMPUTE cycle for intermittent and part-time employees who are
stationed overseas and to process employees using a new overseas

We completed modifications of P roll to incorporate the new
FEGLI optional plans. The program passed the code review and pro-
gram test and is now read for the system test which is scheduled
for 16 March. I (U)
D. Support to OGSR:
CARTDEV (Development of New Cartographic Programs) A review
for CARTDEV covered the status and priority ordering of tasks.
The ordering was accepted as presented. A memorandum for OGSR
from the DD/A/ODP was prepared indicating that ODP anticipates
problems in support a two-man year effort in FY 83.

E. Support to OL
PDMIS (PM Management Information System) The GIMS Review
Board reviewed the PDMIS on 11 February. The purpose of a GIMS
review is to determine the impact of proposed GIMS systems on the
performance of the entire GIMS data base environment. The main
topic discussed was the technique for electronically transferring
data between the PDMIS, ICS, and CONIF data bases. A meeting will
be scheduled within the next few weeks to resolve issues raised
during the review. These issues should not impact on the PDMIS
implementation date of 1 October 1981. (U)
