I. Major Activities During the Past Week:
A. Support to OICE:
CAMS (COMIREX Automated Management System) Messrs.
attended a Transition Technical Exc n
Meeting (TEM) at the CAMS2 Tasking Segment Contractor (CAMS2 T/SC)
facility. A detailed schedule containing dry runs, tests, and a
readiness review leading to a mid-May 1984 transition was agreed
to by both T/SC and Processing Segment Development Contractor
(P/SDC). The mid-May transition date does not alter the 1 April
1984 initial operating capability (IOC) readiness date for the
STAT P/S.

4C (Community-Wide Computer-Assisted Compartmentation Control
System). Room has been found for the 4C computer and communica-
tions equipment in the Headquarters Building. With the DDA's
approval, 4C will be situated in Headquarters, and all development
work has been cancelled. The cancellations
were conducted in such a way as to result in no cost to the Gov-

D. Support to OD&E:
DCAA (Production processing supported by Production Div./ODP)
OD&E has hired a part-time PL/l programmer in order for them to
take over responsibility for the DCAA software. OD&E personnel
have been briefed on the software and responsibility has been
transferred.

E. Support to OP:
PERHOSP (Personnel Hospitalization Insurance System). An
Applications-level review of PERHOSP will be held on 17 September.
This week 1001 records were processed from other files through
PERHOSP into its files. 985 records were successfully loaded,
while sixteen were rejected due to errors. PE,RH0SP is still on
schedule for production use in January :1982.
F. Support to ODP:
Software Maintenance Support RFP. The Technical and Manage-
ment Team completed its evaluation of the final proposals and
passed its findings to the Source Evaluation Board (SEB). The SEB
will meet this week to review the findings and recommend source
