C ie., Project Planning & Control/CSPO/ODP SUBJECT FY-81 SAFE Budget Reprogramming Request 1. It is requested that the FY-81 SAFE Budget be reprogrammed as presented in attachment 1. Attachment 2 is a memorandum from Chief, Systems Engineering/CSPO which states that the funding allocated for transfer to NSA for cryptographic development work will not be needed in FY-81. The effect of the reprogramming is as follows: o An additional $24,000 will be allocated to SOC 2311 Renovations. The increased allocation to $224,000 will permit electrical work to be performed 'during the Phase I Computer Center renovation so that more flexible power distribution units can be installed. o $23,000 will be allocated to SOC 2503 ADP Main- tenance for maintenance of the GFE terminals at the contractor's facility during FY-81 and FY-82. o An increase of $384,990 will be allocated to SOC 2543 ADP Contractual Services for the TRW system development effort. o $431,000 will be de-allocated from SOC 3107 Equipment General for the acquisition of Cryptographic equip- ment. o The PRA funding under ADP Equipment (3109) will be reduced to the actual amount ($268,510) obligated for the Acquisition of GFE Terminals for use at the contractor facility. 2.
