The Office of Security will support your CAMS development plan and, therefore, approves the conceptual design outlined in reference providing for off-site contractor access to the CAMS development processor. Issues relating to distributed processing and networking via COINS, Autodin, or the Defense Dissemination System will require additional security controls and thus need to be further developed before this Office can give a reasoned response. (S) 2. A number of security components will be involved in supporting your development effort; however, Information Systems Security Group (ISSG) will carry the primary responsibility of defining computer security standards and policy. In addition, I expect ISSG to act as a focal point for coordinating the total Office of Security response to your intended CAMS enhancements.
