REFERENCE: Memorandum on Preparation of OCR History dated
10 October 1966
1. Above referenced memorandum requests that OCR components
submit the names of persons to write individual division historical studies.
The transitional period in which Indexing and Services Division now finds itself,
makes it extremely difficult to nominate on-duty personnel for such an assignment,
and therefore, the following former Special Register personalities are suggested
for this task; none have been contacted:

Former senior analyst in the Information
Section; resigned in 1961.

1957 - 1960: Annual and quarterly reports and selected
correspondence
1949 - 1956: Fragmentary
3. Attached is a proposed outline of the SR study.
