The CRS Requirements Program has been rewritten and debugged. The programs fot Intellofax, GR Ground Photography and OBI Map Iy are in progress of being converted andwe expect to have the assembly and debug procedure completed by 15 Nov 65. Nov 65 As requested by OCS3 ghe Programming Staff has converted Intellofaxs the ORR Map Library, GR Ground Photography and CGS Requirements computer programs from SPS and Auto-Coder 1401 Language to 1710 COBAL Language. Dee 65 An #%j# %%g IBM type 083 (aperture card sorter) that operates at 1s000 cards per minute and a 519 aperture card reproducer have been installed. 'his equipment along with two other pieces are to support the new Document Delivery Systen a bd the OBI Map Library System. 25X1A2g Jan 66 At the request of - Programming Groups we ley punched instructions and provided machine support on some of their programs which are to be used on the CDC Optical 6tharacter Reader and the 360 Current Awareness Programs. Feb 66 An Itek Model 18.214 Reader Printer that reproduces prints from 16mm and 35mm roll microfilms sheet film and apert re cards was installed in Room GEO133. A new Kalvar Corporation Actifilm Printer was received an is being installed. Use of this equipment will eliminate the hazards encountered in the use of liquid ammonia in the present equipment. Oct 1966 An accelerated training schedule was designed to 66 train personnel in house on the 360 Computer, The 360 Model 30 Computer that was approved for X MSD's immediate donversion of EAM card records was received on 22 Nov. The planbed conversion to an all source ADP and EAM Data Processing Center was approved by the Office of Security The merger of the Division's Collateral and Codeword P Machine Branches was completed. Contract was awarded to of Bowie, Md, for the punching of the NIS Gazeteers BR Open Reference Index Card File of 1,000,000 cards was converted to magnetic tape and a final listing made Plans worked on for the input/output of the Information Retrieval System (Torque).
