SUBJECT: SSCI Testimony on MX (Peacekeeper)
The Director of Central Intelligence asked me
to provide you a draft copy of my testimony on
Peacekeeper to the Senate Select Committee on
Intelligence, for Wednesday, 8 December. I have
also provided a copy to Secretary Weinberger. This
testimony is being coordinated among CIA, DIA and
Air Force Intelligence, and has been reviewed by
the NSC Staff. Coordination will be completed this
afternoon and we will provide you a final version
of this testimony, which will also be left with
the SSCI, late today or tomorrow. I expect very
little change to the enclosed draft.
