SUBJECT: I (Discussion with HPSCI on Problems of Agency Spouses
STAT
1. On 18 March ladvised me that she had been informed STAT
by ex-DCI William Colby that House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence
(HPSCI) proposes to include questions on problems of Agency spouses in forth-
coming hearings. She asked what "clearances" she was required to obtain for
appearing at such hearings and whom should be informed. She also confirmed
that she and Mrs. Colby would be lunching with General Counsel Stanley Sporkin
on 19 March 1982.

tion available to Mr. Sporkin before their 19 March lunch and that she, in
general, keep OGC and LLD informed on developments of any hearings as they
proceed.
