SUBJECT: HPSCI Hearing on Wilson-Terpil Case
1. Tom Latimer called this morning to say that the HPSCI will
hold hearings on the Wilson-Terpil affair on 2, 3 or 4 February.
Latimer indicated they will be closed hearings and that the Committee
would like to hear from either the DCI or DDCI. He also indicated
that it would probably be helpful if the Inspector General came along
since he has conducted the investigation and has been in pretty constant
contact with the Committee on this subject.
2. Additionally, he suggested that the Committee would like to
know of any proposed remedies that the General Counsel has come up
with to preclude repetition.
3. Please indicate to me which date you would prefer so that I
can relay this back to Mr. Latimer.
