Approved For Release 2001/08/14: CIA-RDP84BOO50 RQ1Q 100 3 031~1', Approved For Rel.e 2001/08/84B00506ROQ00130031-7 3 In additionp the Me MO states that :"the DKIQs interface directly with the KIQs through presenting those DXIQs which are national, as well as departmental to the Director of Central Intelligence for inclusion in the national level KIQ list." A copy of the DKIQs was given to Dave Close on 19 May by Col. Henks/DIA. 4. The ClQs are organized in a hierarchical structure beginning with IS subjects. These subjects are subdivided into 52 issues which are analogous to the KlQs. A listing of the subjects and issues is attached. S. Tau 52 issues consist of 331 DKIQs. `here are 488 sub- II.Q9. Thus, because the K1Qs are analogous to the 52 issues- the DKIQs and sub-DKIQs represent pore specific intelligence questions than are represented by the KlQs which are more broadly based. 6. In reference to the stated putposos of the DKlQs (see para. 2) it is' expected that the p kIQs will serve effectively to focus collection and production e fforts.. JJowever, creation of the audit trail system will take time since it will be based almost entirely on DIAts P.OMIZ system--a production z anagenent information system in the early stages of an expected 2-3 year development period. There is no known evaluation system available to reasure performance against the DKIQs. .'resu ahly*, a KBR-like methodology will have to be designed and tested for this purpose 25X1A9a 25X1A9a m I, Ic/ {'fi'r ` / cd Dlfktr bution: Orig - S c 25X1A9.a I -1 - DQ chrono 'M ns 1 - IC Registry I Reading Pilo Approved For Release 2001/08/14: CIA-RDP84B00506R000100130031-7
