UNITED STATES ARMY INSTITUTE FOR MILITARY ASSISTANCE
FORT BRAGG, NORTH CAROLINA 28307
Dear Mr. Casey:
On behalf of the officers and wives of Foreign Area Officer (FAO)
Course 2-81, please extend my sincere appreciation to your staff
for the excellent support during our recent Washington Interagency
STATINeld Trip.
We are especially.grateful for the assistance of STATI
Special Programs-Office of Training and Education, in
arranging our visits to the Central Intelligence Agency on 6 Oc-
tober 1981.
The entire program was conducted in a very professional manner.
Each briefer provided a unique insight concerning special areas
of common interest to members of the FAO Specialty and the intel-
ligence community. The candid discussions for the FAO students
with regional experts and the question and answer periods follow-
ing each briefing were most informative. The cooperation of CIA
personnel in conducting the program reflects a genuine interest
in exchanging valuable information essential to our training pro-
.gram.
Thank you for your continued support of our educational mission.
Respectfully,
JOSEPH C. LUTZ
Brigadier General, USA
