SUBJECT : SAFE Pilot Mail Operation
1. The SAFE Pilot Mail Operation (PMO) installations for
three NFAC branches have been completed through your
Directorate's timely and responsive support. Many thanks for the
significant role many personnel in your offices of Data
Processing, Logistics and Communications played in successfully
accomplishing these installations and now play in providing
continuing support. Worthy of special note was the Office of
Communication's rescheduling of terminal communications
installations to meet PMO operational dates. As you know, the
experience we will gain in the coming months from using these PMO
facilities will be invaluable to the SAFE effort itself.
Sometime in the coming weeks I will invite you to tour a PMO
facility. Thanks again for your excellent support to the PMO.
