Request that DDCI Attend Ambassadorial
seminar--30 April 1981
1. As you are aware, an Ambassadorial Seminar is
scheduled for 30 April 1981 at the Headquarters Building.
Fourteen newly appointed ambassadors and four Department
state staff members will be briefed on Directorate of Opera-
tions activities by the Acting DIX) and several other DO
officers. This briefing will take place in the DCI Conference
Room from 154 r hours to 1800 hours .
2. Following the briefing, we have scheduled cocktail Is
and dinner for the guests and DO officers from 1800 hours to
1330 hours in the Executive Dining Rom. The guests are sched-
uled to depart by bus from the Headquarters building at 2,00
hours.
3. If it is passible, we would like very much to have you
join the seminar group for cocktails and dinner and to rer:ain
for informal discussion until the guests' departure at 20+i0
hours. We are certain the guests will be interested In dscus-
sing their future assignments with you and believe It would be
