1. Action Requested: That you sign the attached memorandum. u 25X1
2. Background: The Chairmen of the DCI Production Committees
requested 250,000 be included in the Intelligence Community Staff travel
budget for their activities. The full request would be hard to justify in the
budget process and a reduced level is more appropriate for the Intelligence,
Community Staff budget. In general the Committee members travel funds should
continue to come from their parent organizations with the Intelligence
Community Staff funds reserved for unique circumstances requiring
assistance.II 25X1
