1. The Marine Corps is pleased to accept your offer for assignment
of a Marine Corps officer

on a reimbursable basis as outlined in the reference. We
plan to assign a captain with a military occupational specialty
(MOS) of 0202, Intelligence Officer who meets the selection
criteria contained in the enclosure. Tour length would be two
extendable to three years. The selection criteria emphasize combat
intelligence experience in the Fleet Marine Force and attendance
at Marine Corps schools to assure that the Marine Corps CSC
representative can ably represent tactical intelligence require-
ments with an emphasis on the needs of amphibious warfare.
2. This headquarters has selected an officer for this assignment.
begin screening 23 August and immediate assignment upon accep-
tance by IC Staff.
3. The Marine Corps welcomes this opportunity. It is a logical
extension of increased Marine Corps involvement in intelligence
community imagery matters and is a practical and beneficial means
to accomplish mutual objectives. Point of contact in this matter
