1. Attached is a letter just received from the secretary of the
President's General Advisory Committee on arms control. It contains a
"well done" for a briefing recently given to the commits-e by and with
assistance from certain named individuals. What the committee and its
secretary did not know was that the bulk of the work in preparin the
briefin and the accompanying illustrations was accomplished by
of your office.
2. I therefore want to take this opportunity to express my compliments
and appreciation for the professionalism, despatch, and good humor with
which performed the task. He is one of a number of people in
your office who give unstintingly of their time and talents, thereby
enabling the Agency to make continuing, valuable intelligence contributions
to the work of important policy advisory groups like the GAC. Please share
the "well done" with him.
