HEAVY-LIFT SPACE LAUNCH VEHICLE (SLV) IS ON A THREE-CAR SL-Y
TRAIN. (SWN)
2. REMARKS: A PROBABLE STRAP-ON BOOSTER WAS FIRST SEEN AT
FACILITY 31 THIS COMPONENT MAY BE THE
SAME BOOSTER PREVIOUSLY OBSERVED, OR IT MAY HAVE BEEN RECENTLY
DELIVERED. THE HEAVY-LIFT SLV IS POSTULATED TO HAVE UP TO FOUR
STRAP-ON BOOSTERS, AND ADDITIONAL DELIVERIES ARE ANTICIPATED.

A DELIVERY OF AIRFRAME COMPONENTS TO.SUPPORT FACILITY 31
SUGGESTS THAT PREPARATIONS ARE IN PROGRESS FOR
CALIBRATION/COMPATABILITY TESTING OF HANDLING FIXTURES AND
ECUIPMENT FOR THE NEW HEAVY-LIFT SLV AT THE VEHICLE ASSEMBLY
BUILDING. THE NEW HEAVY-LIFT SLV WILL BE LAUNCHED FROM
