1. SIGNIFICANCE: EVIDENCE OF HOSTILITIES ARE OBSERVED. (SWN)
2. REMARKS: A LARGE FIRE AND POSSIBLE WRECKAGE ARE IN AN OPEN
FIELD JUST EAST OF ST. GEORGES PORT FACILITY. THE FIRE IS NEAR
AN ATHLETIC STADIUM, AND THE POSSIBLE WRECKAGE IS ON THE GROUND
NEARBY. NO MILITARY ACTIVITY IS OBSERVED IN THE PORT AREA.
THE CUBAN VIETNAM HEROICO-CLASS PASSENGER/CARGO SHIP THAT WAS
ANCHORED APPROXIMATELY 2 NM NORTHWEST OF THE PORT
]HAS DEPARTED THE AREA. AN UNIDENTIFIED CARGO SHIP REMAINS
AT THE QUAY. (SWN)
