1. SIGNIFICANCE: A PROBABLE MOBILE COMMAND, CONTROL, AND
COMMUNICATIONS (C3) UNIT IS WITHIN THE SCALEBOARD BRIGADE
VEHICLE PARK. (SWN)
2. REMARKS: THIS EQUIPMENT PREVIOUSLY HAS NOT BEEN IDENTIFIED
WITH SCALEBOARD UNITS, BUT SIMILAR MOBILE C3 UNITS ARE
FREQUENTLY OBSERVED WITH FIELD-DEPLOYED SS-20 REGIMENTS AND
OCCASIONALLY WITH OTHER STRATEGIC ROCKET FORCE-RELATED UNITS.
EQUIPMENT IN THE VEHICLE PARK INCLUDES ONE PROBABLE 25X1
MISSILE SUPPORT VAN (MSV), ONE PROBABLE MSV, ONE 25X1
POSSIBLE MSV, AND UP TO THREE OTHER POSSIBLE 25X1
MAZ-543-TYPE VEHICLES (ALMOST COMPLETELY OBSCURED BY CLOUDS.)

THE SCALEBOARD BRIGADE NORMALLY HOUSED AT THIS FACILITY
DEPLOYED TO THE FIELD THE 25X1
BRIGADE WAS AGAIN OBSERVED IN THE FIELD AND HAD BEEN EXPANDED
FROM 12 TO 18 TRANSPORTER-ERECTOR-LAUNCHERS. (SWN)
YEMILCHINO ARMY BARRACKS AL 1 IS IN THE CAF.PATHIAN MILITARY
DISTRICT APPROXIMATELY 170 NM EAST OF THE USSR-POLAND BORDER.
