"G" SUPPORT FACILITY.

LAUNCH AREA G3-G4 WAS CONSIDERED COMPLETE IN
HOWEVER, RENEWED CONSTRUCTION
ACTIVITY HAS BEEN EVIDENT WITHIN THE LAUNCH AREA
SINCE
THE DOUBLE-FENCED LAUNCH AREA CONTAINS 2 RAIL-
SERVED LAUNCH PADS, EACH HAVING AN EXHAUST APERTURE
AT ITS APPROXIMATE CENTER AND A BLAST DEFLECTOR
PARALLEL TO BOTH SIDES.
EACH PAD IS SERVED BY A MISSILE GANTRY MOUNTED ON
RAILS EXTENDING TO THE REAR OF THE PAD. AN "L"-
SHAPED ELECTRONIC FACILITY IS LOCATED APPROXIMATELY
5,000 FT SSW OF THE CENTER OF THE LAUN H AREA.

9. MISSION READOUT: THE BUILDING CONSTRUCTED AT THE FORWARD CENTER
OF THE LAUNCH AREA HAS 3 CYLINDRICAL STRUCTURES ON ITS ROOF. A NEW DITCH
HAS BEEN OPENED FROM THE WESTERN EARTH-MOUNDED BUILDING WEST OF G4, THROUGH
AN EARTH-MOUNDED BUILDING NEAR THE CENTER OF THE LAUNCH AREA, TO A POINT
JUST WEST OF THE SUMP. THE WESTERN SIDE OF THE SUMP HAS BEEN EXCAVATED.
SEVERAL HUNDRED FEET TO THE REAR OF THE SUMP, THIS NEW DITCH FORKS WITH A
BRANCH EXTENDED TO THE NW A SHORT DISTANCE. THE BUILDING UNDER CONSTRUCTION
NEAR THE SITE ENTRANCE HAS A STACK ON ITS EAST SIDE. THE BUILT-IN ERECTORS
ON BOTH PADS ARE PARTIALLY ERECTED. A MISSILE TRANSPORTING RAIL CAR IS AT
THE SOUTH EDGE OF PAD G3. THE NEW RECTANGULAR BUILDING EAST OF G4 IS NOW
RAIL SERVED. BOTH GANTRIES ARE LOCATED TO THE REAR OF THE PADS.
